Life Update!

Hey Blog! It’s been a while I know, but don’t you worry, you have not been forgotten. The best way to describe life since the last time I posted has been stressful, busy and mentally rough. The university application consisted of auditions, essays, interviews and theory exams that really took the life out of me. Luckily they have come to an end and I have heard back from the schools I got into. I got into Berklee, University of Toronto, Western and TMU which is pretty exciting. I really want to go to Berklee but it’s actually so incredibly expensive and even with the scholarship they gave me it’s too much. I applied to get more money though so we’ll see how that goes. Besides University applications I also went to New York to see my amazing boyfriend again which was lovely as always. In New York I saw my friend's school production of rent which was actually the best thing I’ve ever seen. I also saw Bad Cinderella which was an absolute flop. Ironically everything slayed except CINDERELLA she was quite insufferable. I’m not sure if you could even consider it to be a flop cause it already had bad reviews but the point is that it was BAD. Since I got back from New York my mental health has been a bit rough as I have been kind of living just to work and I’ve grown a sort of intolerance to other people which I hope goes away. I did have to quit my job at the magazine publishing company because it was just not the vibe. This honestly scared me because damn, if this music thing doesn’t work out I don’t know how I could ever be satisfied making my money in an office environment. How do people do that to themselves???? The whole corporate thing is actually so miserable and so stressful. I tried to get another job at a restaurant but that didn’t work out. Never got a call back unfortunately. My Barista job simply does not bring the dough which is quite stressful considering I want to travel and go to school this fall. Anyways, I decided the way to relieve all this financial stress was to get the hell out of suburban Ontario and book a one way ticket to Greece. I’m meeting my love of life Olivia March there as she will already have been traveling Europe for two months without me. I know, so rude. I am actually so excited as I have never been before and it looks so beautiful. I can’t wait to be a little hot girl in the streets of Athens, Crete and Corfu. Life has been okay since we last discussed and I have lots to look forward to and lots of important decisions to make when it comes to next year. Oh well! Wish me luck!
